Course Was in great shape greens are immaculate, with a lot of slopes, but for somebody playing from the senior tees, the course plays a lot longer than normal. Fairways are easily missed, with the rough being 1 - 1 1/2 in between small fairway landing areas. Course is extremely hilly, you’ll be extremely lucky to a flat lie. At a 114 slope no way does that compare with my home course of flat, wide and continuous fairways which is also a 114.
If you go take in beautiful surroundings, don’t worry about your score.
This club is gorgeous! It's not only a golf course but doubled was a wedding venue! I officiated a beautiful wedding for a couple here on Sunday. The sun was perfect and the course was a unique backdrop for the photos. I'd certainly officiate a wedding here again.
What a treat! Every hole is either up or down. Greens add more fun to the adventure. I have played golf for 62 years and this round will always be one to remember. Played from the IV tees. Shot 82! Smiling as I left the 18th green and turned around to admire the view and said to my pards! We are going to play this again. We are from Maine and both agree. Ya got to play this course! Staff is top notch, meet and greet, offer assistance and direction with a smile. Pro shop is efficient and friendly. 19th hole is spot on! Bring the group for a time to remember and chill with the views, recognize the course design with the valley and its unmatched use of the land. This is a class experience. Enjoy it, I did. And if you are lucky, you might meet and chat with Pam, proud part owner as she should be. JUST DO IT!
I used to play this course when another management company ran it. That company didn’t do the best job. The carts were old and had no GPS. The course was a mess and the drainage was awful. So I stopped playing there. Then a new management company took over.
They obviously have put the money back into this course which was so badly needed. I have had two very enjoyable rounds in over the past two months.
Brand new carts with GPS. The club house that used to be a ghost town is now bustling with golfers. The course itself has been brought back to the level it deserves and is well maintained. The staff is amazing.
It’s truly night and day. Thanks to all the staff and to the new owners for reviving this beautiful place.
Picturesque setting to say the least. Came up here for my brother's bachelor trip and glad we booked a round here. Course was very challenging but will reward you with plenty of birdie opportunities as it yielded 5 on our team. Greens rolled very true and course was in immaculate condition to be late January. The philly cheese-steak was out of bounds and scrumptious. The southern hospitality here was at it's finest. We will definitely be booking another round up here next time we're back in the Asheville/Weaverville area.
Nice golf experience. Beautiful part of the world. Greens little slower than what I’m use too but in excellent shape. Fairways are in good shape. Lots of elevation. Some interesting holes. Pace of play was a little slow. I enjoyed the course. Staff are very friendly. Would definitely play again.
We had an awesome time at Reems Creek yesterday afternoon. The course was in great shape from tee to green. The greens were in perfect shape and ran quick for this time of year. The family that runs this place were very hospitable. They made our visit! We will definitely return when we’re back in Asheville!
This course needs some work. I heard it's under new ownership. It seems like a nice course. Ot has some beautiful views. The staff was friendly. The fairways were ok. Had some weeds on them. The greens were ok. Looked a little burnt maybe. Hope they get it into shape. Its nice having the GPS. I know they are working in the course. Sand traps seemed like dirt not sand.
